It is of utmost importance to us that our customer's privacy and confidentiality of their Personal Information is fully protected. We recognize that in order to provide efficient and effective service during the delivery of electricity and water distribution services our business processes require the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information. We have an obligation that we take quite seriously to protect our customer's privacy.

 

COLLUS Power Corp and the Collingwood Public Utilities treat all Personal Information as confidential and we have established a joint Privacy Policy to inform employees, customers, subcontractors and stakeholders of our commitment and recognition of our obligations. To inform our customers of our policies in this regard, recently a Privacy Notice was sent out that reviewed the personal information that we collect, how it is used, how we protect its confidentiality and your rights in respect of this information.

 

It is important that our customers understand that there may be a need for us to disclose summary information obtained by combining data from many accounts. We will ensure that the data is sufficiently aggregated such that any personal identifiers cannot reasonably be identified.

 

The latest revisions to privacy policy and processes for our organizations came into effect on January 1, 2004. COLLUS Power Corp and the Collingwood Public Utilities reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Please check the page periodically for changes.
